200 objective questions across General Awareness, English, Quant, and Reasoning. Competitive cutoffs — only the top candidates advance. Phase I marks are NOT counted in the final score.

Phase II

Descriptive Papers

3 Papers · 90 Min Each · Core Selection

Three separate papers: Economic & Social Issues (ESI), English Writing Skills, and Finance & Management (F&M). All descriptive. This is the hardest and most unique part of RBI Grade B — no other banking exam tests this deeply.

Phase III

Interview

50 Marks · Final Round

Panel interview conducted at RBI offices. Tests your understanding of economic policy, RBI's role, and your motivation for joining the central bank. Carry depth — not just facts.
